College GameDay will broadcast live from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Saturday for the Army-Navy game. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick won’t have to walk too far from his office to get to the set.

ESPN’s traveling pregame show announced on Thursday that Belichick will be this week’s celebrity guest picker.

It’s a tumultuous time for Belichick, who has been the leading man in New England since 2000. Calls for his job have intensified as the Patriots have slipped to 2-10. They currently sit at the bottom of the AFC and are contending for the worst record in the NFL.

GameDay will look to offer a bit of a reprieve.

Objectively, going from comedian Theo Von — last week’s celebrity guest — to Belichick is whiplash-inducing. But the Patriots’ coach will only have one college game to pick.

The show is setting up outside the stadium in Lot 5B and will run from 10 a.m. ET until noon.

This year’s Army-Navy game kicks off at 3 p.m. ET on CBS. Army won last year’s meeting 20-17. Five of the last seven in the series have been decided by a single possession and both sides are 2-2 in the last four. Both the Midshipmen and the Black Knights enter at 5-6 on the season.
