ESPN’s College Gameday is off to a historic start to the season.

According to the network’s public relations department, GqmeDay’s audience of an average of 2.1 million viewers, which is up 19% from 2021, is the best two-week start it has had since 2010. The final hour of the Texas Longhorns game had 2.7 million viewers, which was 66% higher than the competition.

Putting together the best Week 2 in over a decade and recording a best September show in 2016 isn’t a bad way to start off what’s sure to be an exciting season.

GameDay will be coming to Boone, North Carolina next as Appalachian State faces Troy on Saturday, Sept. 17.
