College GameDay is in Columbia for the Week 3 matchup between the LSU Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks.
Any time a town gets to host GameDay, there’s palpable excitement, especially when it’s a conference matchup.
In Week 0, the GameDay crew went to Dublin, Ireland for the matchup between Florida State and Georgia Tech. In Week 1, the crew was in College Station for the Texas A&M-Notre Dame game, and then in Week 2, the team went to Ann Arbor for Texas-Michigan.
As was expected, the fans in Columbia did not disappoint in Week 3 with the signs. Let’s take a look at the best signs from Week 3:

As you can see, Gamecocks fans did not disappoint. Now, the fans just have to hope their team brings it on the field as well.
The Gamecocks are 2-0 after beating Old Dominion and Kentucky. The Tigers are 1-1, losing to USC and winning over Nicholls State. A win over the Tigers in Week 3 would put the Gamecocks in a great spot with 2 conference wins through 3 games. A loss by the Tigers, however, would put the team in a precarious position if they have any postseason hopes for 2024.
This has been a one-sided matchup throughout history. The teams have met 22 times, with the Tigers getting 19 wins, the Gamecocks getting 2, and the game ending in a tie once.
The SEC clash kicks off from Columbia at noon ET.
