Gabrielle Union has appeared in many movies and plenty of television shows over the years. Now, she can add ESPN’s College GameDay to the list.
Union, who is married to former NBA star Dwayne Wade, will be the guest picker on College GameDay this Saturday, which will air live from Nebraska ahead of the Cornhuskers’ matchup against No. 5 Ohio State.
Union was born in Omaha, Neb., and grew up as a fan of the Cornhuskers, which makes her a logical selection to be this weekend’s guest picker. She announced the news on Twitter on Thursday:

Nebraska has a chance to earn a huge win on Saturday, as Ohio State is one of the top programs in the country and off to a 4-0 start this season. The Buckeyes have national championship aspirations, so if they get knocked off by the Cornhuskers, it would change not only the Big Ten picture but also potentially the College Football Playoff scene.
Nebraska and Ohio State kick off on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. However, catch Union on College GameDay, which airs from 9 a.m.-noon ET.
