Arizona is hosting Washington State in Tucson. The Wildcats, who saw a 4-game losing streak snapped with an upset win against UCLA a week prior, entered Saturday needing a win to keep their hopes of a 1st bowl appearance since 2017 alive.

Sadly, things haven’t gone according to plan for Jedd Fisch’s team in this one. The Cougars took a 21-6 lead into the locker room as Jayden de Laura hasn’t quite had a performance to remember. In fact, outside of a pair of field goals, the Wildcats’ offense has been spinning its wheels.

Things got heated on the home sideline between de Laura and one of his top receivers, Dorian Singer. The 2 were shown exchanging words before de Laura shoved Singer in the helmet, as you can see below.

Eventually, the teammates were separated by coaches.

At the end of the day, players have disagreements with each other, and at times, things can turn a little physical. Let’s see if de Laura and Singer can bury the hatchet and help kickstart the Wildcats’ offense before they fall further behind and see their postseason hopes come to an end.
