The 2021 College World Series finals begin Monday at 7 p.m. ET. Mississippi State and Vanderbilt start a new best-of-three series to decide which team is crowned the national champion.

At FanDuel Sportsbook, Vanderbilt enters as the favorite in the two betting lines that have been posted. The No. 4 Commodores are favored by 1.5 runs in Monday’s game. The over/under for the scoring total on Monday is currently 8.5.

With the Vandy Boys favored to take Game 1, it’s no surprise Tim Corbin’s squad is also the betting favorite to win the national title. Vanderbilt’s odds to win the CWS are -210 while Mississippi State’s odds are +160 to win two more games.

Vanderbilt was the initial betting favorite to win it all ahead of the first game of the greatest show on dirt. After Mississippi State started out 2-0 while Vanderbilt went 1-1 and had to fend off elimination, the Bulldogs became the betting favorites in updated odds.

Vanderbilt last played on Friday, defeating a COVID-depleted NC State team 3-1. The Commodores were set to play the Wolfpack again on Saturday, but the game was canceled due to COVID cases within the NC State program.

Mississippi State advanced to the CWS finals with a thrilling 4-3 walk-off win over Texas on Saturday night.
