Jack Leiter breaks down his performance in Vanderbilt’s College World Series win over Mississippi State

In his first-ever appearance in a College World Series Final game, Jack Leiter pitched a gem for Vanderbilt.

Leiter pitched for six innings and allowed just two runs in the Commodores’ Game 1 win over Mississippi State in the final on Monday night, taking Vanderbilt to the brink of another national title.

For the game, Leiter threw 107 pitches, 63 of which were strikes. The Vandy pitcher earned his 11th win of the season with this performance.
