Collin Sexton made the news official Friday morning, he’s off to the NBA.
The Alabama freshman announced his decision in Tuscaloosa following an outstanding debut season for Avery Johnson’s program. Sexton averaged over 19 points per game 3.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists for the Crimson Tide last season. He hit the game-winning shot in Alabama’s win against Texas A&M in the SEC Tournament and helped the Tide also win a game in the NCAA Tournament.
He thanked Alabama, his family, his teammates and his coaches, as well as Bama Nation in his farewell statement:
