Former Florida standout Quincy Wilson is set to start a new chapter of his NFL career after the Indianapolis Colts traded him to the New York Jets in exchange for a sixth-round pick in this year’s NFL Draft.

Wilson was drafted in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He made 29 appearances for Indianapolis over the past 3 seasons. Wilson played in 9 games for the Colts in 2019, and registered 9 solo tackles on the season. He didn’t start in any games in 2019 after he started 5 games each of the previous 2 seasons.

At Florida, Wilson left after his junior season after he started all 13 games in 2016. He made 33 tackles, one sack, 3 interceptions (one returned for a touchdown). He was one of 2 players to start every game during the season for the Gators, and recorded a career-high 9 tackles against South Carolina.
