Conner Weigman has been listed as a game-time decision leading up to Saturday’s top 25 tilt against Mizzou. And though Texas A&M has not officially come out and said it, Weigman is looking like he will be the starter against the Tigers.
For starters, Weigman is taking snaps with A&M’s starting unit during warmups, not Marcel Reed. For another, Aggies radio has reportedly said Weigman will get the start Saturday against No. 9 Mizzou.
UPDATE: The @AggieFootball radio network reports Conner Weigman will start at quarterback this morning against #9 @MizzouFootball at Kyle field. He has been injured. Freshman Marcel Reed has been playing, while Weigman was injured. @Learfield

The Aggies are leaving things ambiguous, though. Both Weigman and Reed appeared as “projected starters” at Kyle Field prior to kickoff:

Weigman had an excellent start to the 2023 season before suffering a season-ending foot injury against Auburn. He started this year a little slower before suffering yet another injury that forced Reed into the spotlight.
But Reed has done well with what he was dealt. Reed is a real threat as a rusher, but he has a lot to refine as a passer before he can be effective as a starter in the SEC.
We’ll know for sure who starts at QB in just a few moments. Kickoff between the Tigers and Aggies is set for Noon, live on ABC.
