New Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman has done a solid job of filling out his coaching staff, bringing in some big-name assistants.
Now, we know what sort of contracts Pittman’s assistants have, thanks to WholeHogSports.com.
Per the report, DC Barry Odom and OC Kendal Briles both have contracts that run through the 2022 season:
The defensive coordinator Odom, a four-year head coach at Missouri who led the Tigers to a 25-25 record, tops the staff pay at $1.2 million per year, followed by Briles, who will be paid $1 million per season.
The other assistants are all on 2-year deals, and you can find their salary information here.
How many will stick around and how many will land other jobs? We’ll find out after the 2020 season when the coaching carousel starts spinning again.
