Corey Collier Jr., a former Florida Gators defensive back, announced his transfer destination Saturday afternoon, committing to Matt Rhule and Nebraska.
Collier’s recruiting ranking depended on which site you cite. 247Sports has Collier listed as a former 4-star recruit while Rivals listed him as a 5-star prospect.

One thing is certain, the 6-foot-1, 179 pound redshirt freshman could use the fresh start Rhule and company will provide in Lincoln. Collier has just 2 tackles across his 2 year career in Gainesville, totaling 1 sack his freshman year. Across his 2 seasons for the Gators Collier has appeared in just 6 games, mostly on special teams duty.
