Corey Flagg Jr. has found a new home out of the transfer portal as the former Miami linebacker is headed to the SEC.

Flagg announced on Instagram that he’s headed to Missouri.

Flagg started a pair of games, but saw action in all 12 games this season. He finished with 48 total tackles, including 23 solo and made 7 tackles for a loss.

In 2022, Flagg played in 11 games and made 9 starts as he ranked 3rd on team with 56 total tackles. He tied for team lead with 10.5 tackles for loss, which was highest among all linebackers, and he had 2.5 sacks and one pass breakup.

Flagg is the 4th transfer to announce he will play for the Tigers next year joining cornerback Toriano Pride, running back Marcus Carroll and offensive lineman Cayden Green.

The connection was that Mizzou defensive coordinator Blake Baker was the Hurricanes’ defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach during Flagg’s freshman season.
