Following Florida’s first loss of the season at Texas A&M, Dan Mullen received significant backlash when he called for Florida to “pack the swamp” in its return to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium to host LSU this weekend.

After Tuesday’s news that Florida is pausing all team activities due to positive COVID-19 tests, Mullen might want to rethink that stance.

The Gators’ matchup with LSU is now put into question, which could mean trouble for the SEC if this becomes an issue with more teams.

Vanderbilt’s game with Missouri has already been postponed due to positive tests and opt-outs and Vanderbilt not allowing the Commodores to field enough players.

That didn’t stop social media from having fun at Mullen’s expense, however.

Below are some of the quick reactions on Twitter to the news of Florida shutting down team activities.
