Everyone knows by now that Florida was hit hard by COVID following the trip to Texas A&M as the program’s next two games had to be postponed following an outbreak on the team.

In addition to the players being affected by COVID, at least two Florida assistant coaches and Dan Mullen have tested positive since the trip to College Station.

On Tuesday, Florida shared the latest COVID testing update among the Gator football team. Last week, Florida listed the number of players testing positive at 6. This week, that number is at 31.

Due to HIPAA laws, Florida is not permitted to name any of the players that test positive or the players that have to go into quarantine.

Florida was originally scheduled to play Missouri this weekend. This week, due to the high volume of positive test numbers, the Gators are off this weekend after the LSU game was postponed last weekend.

The Gators are next scheduled to take the field Saturday, Oct. 31 against Missouri.
