Florida fans finally have some good news regarding the COVID-19 outbreak at the football facility in Gainesville.

For the first time in over a month, Florida has no new positive COVID-19 cases on its football team.

This is welcome news for the Gators as they prepare to face Georgia in Jacksonville in a matchup that could go a long way in determining the winner of the SEC East.

Florida had a three-week layoff after its loss at Texas A&M on October 10 and was able to get back to action last Saturday with a 41-17 win over Missouri. The Gators won despite missing several players who had to sit out due to COVID-19 precautions. Many of those players should start working their way back into the fold this week.

Now at 3-1, Florida can put its COVID-19 issues in the rearview as it looks ahead to the most highly anticipated game of the season heading into the matchup against Georgia in Jacksonville.
