Adam Griffith’s 2015 season was a good example of the life a college kicker lives sometimes.

He was criticized heavily early in the season after missed his first four field goal attempts during games against Wisconsin and Middle Tennessee, with many Crimson Tide fans calling for his replacement.

Nick Saban stuck with him, and the fourth-year junior made 23 of his next 27 field goals, including a perfect 5-for-5 in the Iron Bowl, on the way to a national title.

Now that there is nothing but love for Griffin in Tuscaloosa, who has an amazing personal story that can be seen here, the kicker has decided to return the love by returning for a fifth season:

He should return as one of the conference’s better kickers for the 2016 season.
