The College World Series begins on Monday night, pitting a pair of SEC squads — Mississippi State and Vanderbilt — against each other.

As you can see below, 12 total SEC stars made the first-, second- and third-teams, with Mississippi State and Vanderbilt accounting for 5 of the selections (including 2 first-team honorees on each squad):

First team

  • Tanner Allen, OF, Mississippi State
  • Jack Leiter, P, Vanderbilt
  • Kumar Rocker, P, Vanderbilt
  • Doug Nikhazy, P, Ole Miss
  • Landon Sims, P, Mississippi State
  • Kevin Kopps, P, Arkansas

Second team
