Dabo Swinney commented on any potential interest he might have in the Texas A&M head coaching vacancy on Tuesday.

Swinney said he remains focused on the Clemson job and is “just trying to beat North Carolina” this weekend.

“I’m just focused on this job … Always have been,” said Swinney. “Just trying to beat North Carolina. It must be November — that’s all I can say.”

Rick Neuheisel connected Swinney to the Texas A&M job this week, saying on SiriusXM radio that there’s no other fan base who would embrace Swinney like Texas A&M would.

Texas A&M fired Jimbo Fisher after a 6-4 record through the first 10 games. The Aggies beat Mississippi State 51-10 in Fisher’s final game at the helm.

Interim head coach Elijah Robinson will lead Texas A&M against Abilene Christian in Week 12.
