Dak Prescott addresses potential quarterback controversy in Dallas

In his two regular-season starts with the Dallas Cowboys, former Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott has shown he’s capable of being an NFL starting quarterback.
While Prescott hasn’t lit the world on fire with his stats (47-of-75, 519 yards), he’s yet to throw a touchdown pass, he’s done a good job of avoiding turnovers. His 75 attempts without an interception is a new NFL rookie record.
Prescott’s play has made it clear that he is Dallas’ quarterback of the future, but the debate is whether he should also be the quarterback when Cowboys starter Tony Romo is healthy again.
Prescott spoke to Dallas media and made it clear he’ll be ready to hand the reigns back to Romo when the franchise quarterback is healthy:

Romo is expected to be out for as many as eight more weeks.
