For former Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott, it’s game day as the Dallas Cowboys host the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football. Even though it’s a game day, he found time to work watching his alma mater into his schedule. And he was happy with the results, as MSU defeated Miami (Ohio) 17-16 to win the St. Petersburg Bowl and finish the year 6-7.

Prescott’s last game with Mississippi State was the Belk Bowl on Dec. 30, 2015. The Bulldogs quarterback went out with a bang, throwing for 380 yards and 4 touchdowns, helping MSU to a 51-28 win over N.C. State.
