Dak Prescott has been medically cleared to play for the Dallas Cowboys, the team announced Wednesday.
Prescott has been out since the first game of the season with a thumb injury the former Mississippi State quarterback suffered in Week 1 against the Bucs.

Cooper Rush has been filling in for Prescott since Week 1 for the Cowboys and has done well in his stead. Still, it’ll be good for Dallas to get back to their true potential in the NFC with Prescott under center.
If they can keep him healthy, that is. Prescott has been injured before in his career, most notably in 2020 when an ankle injury in Week 5 kept him out of the remainder of the entire season. Hopefully, Prescott has finally put his injury woes to bed.
