Dak Prescott, receivers thriving in NFL this season, tailbacks not so much

Former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott continues to be one of the best stories in the NFL this season.

Taking over for an injured Tony Romo, Prescott has led America’s Team to a 12-2 record and a likely No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs. Alongside fellow rookie Ezekiel Elliott, the dynamic duo has done incredible things already in Big D.

Checking in other SEC alumni, the running backs aren’t necessarily tearing it up these days. Last year’s Heisman Trophy winner, Alabama product Derrick Henry, is still finding his footing in the pros. However, several receivers are flourishing at the next level. Julio Jones, also a one-time Crimson Tider, is a statistical monster.

Be sure to watch the video above for some quick commentary on a handful of past SEC stars and what they’re doing now on Sundays.
