Damien Harris played against Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers during his time as a running back at Alabama, but now he is watching him as an analyst for CBS Sports. The Tigers suffered their second loss of the season on Saturday, as Georgia Tech kicker Aidan Birr made a 55-yard field goal as time expired to get the 24-21 victory.

During a segment on CBS Sports College Football, Harris talked about the Clemson performance and said he was very disappointed in Dabo Swinney.

“It is disappointing, first and foremost,” Harris said. “For Dabo Swinney, as highly respected as you are. For the national championships you won. For the heights you have taken the program of Clemson to, you should not be getting out-coached by a Georgia Tech football team.”

Harris said it would be one thing if the Yellow Jackets outplayed or worked harder than the Tigers. However, Harris said this came down to Swinney and his staff getting outcoached by Brett Key and the Georgia Tech coaches.

With this loss, the Tigers fall to 1-2 on the season, and are now in big trouble when it comes to making the College Football Playoff. With the 12-team Playoff, the Tigers can still make a run at things, but now they have to be pretty much perfect the rest of the way.

The Tigers will be back in action next week when they host the Syracuse Orange.
