This is why we shouldn’t give kickers helmets

This happened in Buffalo today, and Dan Carpenter played his college ball in Montana, so there are no “Saturday Down South” ties here.

We just wanted to take a moment to remind you about helmet safety.

Carpenter is the kicker for the Buffalo Bills. He missed an extra point in today’s game against the New York Jets.

Then this happened:

Next time, perhaps we should let Carpenter kick wearing one of those nice beanies like he’s pictured in above instead of a helmet. You know, for his own safety.
