Dan Lanning and Pat McAfee fire up Oregon crowd, rip shirts off on College GameDay

The College GameDay crowd showed up bright (dark?) and early for Oregon’s Week 7 matchup against Indiana.
But according to former Alabama coach Nick Saban, the Ducks needed some energy that early in the morning. At around 6:30 local time, Pat McAfee and Oregon head coach Dan Lanning decided to pump the crowd up a bit.
It surprised absolutely nobody that McAfee’s response to that statement was to rip his shirt off, but Lanning, after some hesitation, gave in as well. Check out the scene below:
It’s said that a football team takes after the personality of its head coach, and it’s hard to argue that sentiment with Oregon under Dan Lanning. The Ducks head coach is a psychopath in the best way possible, and his leadership lifted the Ducks over one top 10 opponent already this season. But fresh off a win over Penn State last week, the Ducks will have their hands full against Indiana.
The Hoosiers surprised everybody by reaching the College Football Playoff last season, and they’re on track to do it again this year. Indiana is 5-0 on the year with a blowout win over No. 17 Illinois on their resume. But while that’s a great win for the Hoosiers, they’ll be in for another level of toughness entirely against the Ducks in Eugene.
The Ducks and Hoosiers will face off at 3:30 p.m. ET (12:30 local) on CBS.
