College football coaches say just about everything with recruits in mind. On Thursday, Dan Mullen had something to say to the Florida fans planning to come to Saturday’s showdown with Auburn.

The Gators coach called for fans to make sure they arrive at the game this week on time because Mullen says Florida needs “everyone there doing their part to win the game.

Florida and Auburn are facing each other for the first time since 2011. This is also the first time the Gators will be hosting a matchup against another Top 10 team since No. 9 South Carolina visited the No. 3 Gators at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in 2013.

Mullen added Thursday that the athletic department is expecting “one of the biggest crowds in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium history” this weekend.

Auburn holds a 43-38-2 edge in the all-time series against Florida. The Tigers also have a current three-game winning streak against the Gators.
