Dan Mullen critical of Kyle Trask’s first half performance against LSU

The LSU Tigers lead the Florida Gators 24-17 at halftime, and quarterback Kyle Trask has struggled against a depleted LSU defense. Remember, the Tigers are down their 3 starting cornerbacks, and Trask and the offense haven’t taken advantage of it.
Trask completed just 18-of-30 passes for 256 yards and 1 touchdown in the first half. However, he’s thrown 2 INTs, including a pick-6, and he’s also fumbled that led to points for LSU just before halftime.
Dan Mullen was asked about his quarterback at halftime by ESPN’s Todd McShay, and the Florida coach didn’t mince words.
“We’ve got to make better reads at the quarterback position,” Mullen said at halftime. “We’re missing read after read after read after read making those mistakes; so, we’ve got to get that cleaned up.”
LSU beating Florida would be a huge upset, and Florida’s offense, led by Trask, is going to have to come alive in the second half.
