Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators gave No. 1 Alabama all it could handle on Saturday afternoon in The Swamp.

Late in the fourth quarter, the Gators even scored on this impressive run by Dameon Pierce:

That cut the Tide’s lead to only 31-29, with the Gators lining up for a 2-point conversion try. And … well, what a try it was.

It was a read-option play, and QB Emory Jones simply held onto the ball too long:
