Dan Mullen happy with win, addresses Florida’s ‘ho-hum’ performance at Vanderbilt

It wasn’t pretty at times, but the Florida Gators improved to 6-1 on the season with a 38-17 win at Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon.

The Commodores scored 10 first-quarter points, which was more than they had scored in any first quarter all season, but Florida got it together defensively and only allowed 7 points in the final 3 quarters.

After the game, coach Dan Mullen addressed some concerns on both sides of the ball. Here’s what he had to say in his postgame press conference:

The Gators host Kentucky next weekend in an important game on the road to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game. We’ll see if they can fix their issues in a week’s time.
