Dan Mullen has finalized his picks for Week 7.

Mullen is showing faith in the underdogs this week — at least against the spread. He’s taking Oklahoma and Florida to cover as more than 2-touchdown underdogs in their respective rivalry games this weekend. However, he does think Texas and Tennessee will ultimately prevail.

Mullen also believes LSU will win outright as 3.5-point underdogs at home against Ole Miss this weekend.

As for the other games on the slate, Mullen is leaning toward the favorites. He’s picking Penn State, Ohio State and Pitt to all cover as 3.5 point favorites this weekend.

Several of these games have College Football Playoff implications. Oklahoma, Tennessee, LSU and Ole Miss are all hoping to avoid the dreaded second loss. Ohio State, Penn State, Texas, Oregon and Pitt are all fighting to keep their perfect records beyond Week 7.

Mullen’s picks are also representative of a big day for this new era of conference realignment. This will be the first-ever SEC meeting between Oklahoma and Texas. There’s also Penn State-USC and Ohio State-Oregon — 2 brand new marquee matchups in the Big Ten.
