Dan Mullen loves a few underdogs this week, at least to cover the spread.

Mullen made picks for six matchups taking place. Mullen picked Ole Miss (+7) over Alabama, Iowa (+14.5) over Penn State, Colorado (+21) over Oregon, North Carolina (-7.5) over Pitt, Oregon State (-3) at Washington State, and Ohio State (-3) at Notre Dame.

If Ole Miss-Alabama is anything like it was last season, the game should be very entertaining once again. Last season’s meeting was decided by six points in Oxford.

Mullen believes that Coach Prime and Colorado will do enough to at least cover the spread against Oregon. The Buffaloes head to Autzen Stadium at 3-0 after beating Colorado State in overtime.

Iowa is a on a two-game winning streak against Penn State. The offense with Cade McNamara under center will lose by fewer than 14.5 points to Penn State, according to Mullen.

Ohio State has its first true test of the season as the Buckeyes head to South Bend.

Do you agree with Mullen’s picks?
