A pass from Kadarius Toney to Moral Stephens in the Florida-Mississippi State game was memorable for multiple reasons. For one, it was the only touchdown of the 13-6 game. Also, it was a trick play. QB Feleipe Franks lateraled the ball to Toney, a high school quarterback converted to a wide receiver, so he could throw the forward pass to Stephens.

On Monday, Florida coach Dan Mullen revealed that the play has a name, “Kodak.” It’s named for the chart-topping rapper and known Gators fan, Kodak Black.
Mullen said he tries to keep things simple, and the players are familiar with Kodak Black.
The “Tunnel Vision” rapper from South Florida has made his Gator fandom known on social media and notably in the music video for his song “Transportin,” a video which has more than 123 million views on YouTube.
Florida RB Jordan Scarlett recently tweeted at the rapper to come to Gainesville for the LSU game. The tweet was co-signed by the University of Florida’s official account.
