Dan Mullen has shared his picks against the spread for this week’s slate of games.
The former Florida and Mississippi State head coach included a couple of SEC contests in his picks this week. Mullen is going with Missouri to cover the spread (but lose outright) on the road in Tuscaloosa. Both Missouri and Alabama are in need of a victory on Saturday in order to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.
He’s also backing Texas A&M -1 at home on Saturday against LSU. The winner of this game will enter the month of November as the only SEC team to be undefeated in conference play. Both teams have flawless records since dropping nonconference games way back in Week 1.
In the Big Ten, Mullen likes Indiana to cover the spread on the road against Washington even with quarterback Kurtis Rourke sidelined due to injury. The ESPN analyst is also taking Illinois to cover +22 against Oregon — but he’s taking the Ducks to win outright.
Elsewhere, Mullen has Navy covering as 13.5-point underdog against Navy in a neutral-site showdown. In the Big 12, Mullen is taking BYU to win outright as 2.5-point underdogs on the road at Central Florida.
