Dan Mullen shares Week 9 picks, including 3 SEC games

Dan Mullen has shared his picks for Week 9 and he’s included 3 games from the SEC. The former Mississippi State and Florida coach revealed his picks on Twitter.

Mullen is going with No. 3 Tennessee over No. 19 Kentucky, Auburn defeating Arkansas, and No. 15 Ole Miss beating Texas A&M.

Tennessee most recently routed UT Martin 65-24. Kentucky is coming off a bye week. In Kentucky’s last game, they defeated Mississippi State 27-17 to snap a 2-game losing streak.

Tennessee won last season’s meeting and leads the all-time series 82-26-9 against Kentucky. Kentucky-Tennessee is slated for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff this Saturday and will be televised on ESPN.

Auburn is aiming to snap a 3-game losing streak. Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on the SEC Network.

Auburn’s last victory came in overtime vs. Missouri on Sept. 24. Since then, Auburn has dropped games vs. LSU, Georgia, and Ole Miss. Auburn leads the all-time series 19-11-1 and is on a 6-game winning streak against Arkansas.

Arkansas defeated host BYU 52-35 in their last outing.

Ole Miss fell at LSU last week after starting the season 7-0. LSU rallied from a 17-3 deficit in the second quarter to earn the win. LSU didn’t commit a turnover and amassed 500 total yards in the victory.

Texas A&M is on a 3-game losing streak. Their last victory came against Arkansas on Sept. 24. Since then, Texas A&M has lost to Mississippi State, Alabama, and South Carolina.

Ole Miss-Texas A&M is slated to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on the SEC Network.
