Former Mississippi State and Florida head coach Dan Mullen released his new and improved College Football Playoff picks following an exciting Week 1 of college football.
His picks spar Alabama and Ohio State against the other with a rematch between Georgia and Michigan on the other side of the bracket. He has Georgia over Ohio State in the National Championship game.

Mullen’s original picks had Alabama over Ohio State, with Utah and NC State rounding out the final 4.

The assumption is that Mullen was impressed with Ohio State’s knockoff win over No. 5 Notre Dame, one that has many wondering if the Buckeyes could dance with the Crimson Tide come January. The Buckeyes look good, but so did Alabama in its 55-0 clobbering of Utah State. Georgia’s 49-3 dismantling of Oregon also outdoes what Ohio State did Saturday night.
What do you think of Mullen’s picks?
