One day removed from surgery, D’Andre Walker is already back to prepping for 2019 NFL Draft
One day removed from surgery and D’Andre Walker is already back on the grind.
After suffering an injury in the SEC Championship Game against Alabama, Georgia’s leading pass rusher last season missed the Sugar Bowl. Now that injury has finally caught up to him and he required surgery to correct his sports hernia issue.
Walker was expected to compete in the 2019 Senior Bowl but was forced to pull out of the event due to the injury. Walker announced on social media he had to undergo surgery this week to correct the issue but he’s already back on his feet and working toward all the upcoming pre-draft activities leading up to the 2019 NFL Draft.
Prior started the first 13 games of Georgia’s season leading up to the Sugar Bowl and made 45 tackles, with 11 tackles-for-loss, 7.5 sacks and 14 quarterback pressures — all team highs for the Bulldogs last season.
