Alabama stiff arms Texas A&M’s momentum as Kellen Mond throws Pick 6 to Tide defense
Alabama jumped out to an early 14-0 lead on Texas A&M and looked to be on pace to blow the Aggies out on Saturday.
Then, Texas A&M came roaring back and made things interesting following an Aggie touchdown drive, which was quicly followed by Mac Jones throwing his first interception of the season. The interception was nearly returned for a touchdown by Texas A&M but Najee Harris saved a touchdown by making a great tackle.
The Aggies easily scored on the very next play of the game to tie things up at 14 all.
Credit the Crimson Tide for responding the right way as Alabama put together a scoring drive then defensive back Daniel Wright not only intercepted Kellen Mond, he returned it for a touchdown.
All of a sudden, Alabama is back up 14 on the Aggies with the score 28-14 in Tuscaloosa with halftime approaching.
