Danny Kanell calls out Florida fans for celebrating loss to Alabama

Danny Kanell is a former Florida State quarterback. The Seminoles are currently a disaster, sitting at 0-3 with losses to Notre Dame, Jacksonville State and Wake Forest.
So, Kanell has instead turned his attention to the Seminoles’ rivals — the Florida Gators.
After the Gators lost 31-29 vs. No. 1 Alabama on Saturday afternoon, many felt the Florida squad did a lot of good things. But, Kanell doesn’t like seeing so many Florida fans celebrating the close loss, and he called them out on Twitter:
Kind of fascinating to see Gator fans acting like they won. Did I miss something? Congrats on keeping it close!!

Kanell is right — there are no such things as moral victories in college football. Every game is so important, and the Gators came up short on Saturday afternoon.
However, we’re sure his mentions will be full of people reminding him of the Seminoles’ struggles so far in 2021.
