Danny Kanell ranks his top 12 teams in the country after each week of the college football season.
His list often goes against the grain when compared to other analysts, and that was the case again this week.
While Kanell has Georgia at No. 1 like most everyone else, he has TCU at No. 2, followed by Ohio State, Michigan, Tennessee, and USC.
After that, things get more curious, as the former Florida State quarterback has Clemson and North Carolina up next, ahead of SEC powers LSU and Alabama.
Finally, rounding out Kanell’s top 12 are Penn State and Utah.
CFB never disappoints! Only two weeks to go…
1. Georgia
2. TCU
3. Ohio State
4. Michigan
5. Tennessee
6. USC
7. Clemson
8. UNC
9. LSU
10. Bama
11. Penn State
12. Utah— Danny Kanell (@dannykanell) November 13, 2022
It’s pretty much a certainty that the official College Football Playoff rankings will look quite a bit different from Kanell’s when they’re released Tuesday night.
It’s also pretty much certain that it won’t keep Kanell from continuing to march to the beat of his own drummer.
