Danny Kanell’s college football team power rankings — and everyone else’s for that matter — look a lot different with Week 13 action now in the books.
It has been a wild 2024 season in general in which there is no clear top dog across the landscape, but this past Saturday may have been the most eventful, between Oklahoma beating the doors off of Alabama, which hardly resembled a team once ranked at No. 1 in the nation, as the Crimson Tide fell 24-3 in Norman.
Georgia also clinched a spot in the SEC Championship Game, despite going back and forth with the UMass Minutemen of all times for the first 2 quarters of the contest before ultimately pulling away and recording a dominant 59-21 win.
Indiana also suffered its first loss of the season and did not look as competitive as expected in the 38-15 loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes. That rounds out just a few of the weekend’s most interesting occurrences.
Here’s a look at Kanell’s fully updated top 12, which has Oregon still holding strong following an open date.
