Georgia has finally impressed Danny Kanell enough that the former Florida State quarterback is putting the Bulldogs at… No. 6.
Kanell, host of SiriusXM’s Dog Day Sports and the Kanell and Bell podcast, has been slow to get on the UGA hype train. The Dawgs’ 55-0 win over Arkansas State in Week 3 appears to have impressed Kanell as he’s moved Kirby Smart’s squad up two spots from its previous ranking.
Kanell is sticking with his top 3 of Clemson, Alabama and LSU. In the tweet with his ranking, Kanell indicates that Clemson and Alabama have separated themselves from the pack. Oklahoma’s win over UCLA has Kanell moving the Sooners up a spot and Texas is back in his rankings with Michigan dropping out.
