Danny Kanell shreds Georgia with a string of tweets following loss to Alabama

The Alabama Crimson Tide throttled the Georgia Bulldogs 41-24 in the SEC Championship Game, and Tide quarterback Bryce Young was flawless. Young threw for 421 yards and scored 4 total touchdowns. He likely locked up the Heisman Trophy Saturday.

Alabama’s win locks up 2 SEC teams advancing to the College Football Playoff for the Tide and Bulldogs. Still, some folks apparently aren’t convinced Georgia is a top 4 team.

College football analyst Danny Kanell is one of them, and following the Tide’s blowout win, Kanell asked whether the Bulldogs deserve a Playoff spot. Georgia’s defense was the nation’s top scoring defense only allowing offenses 6.9 points. Alabama and Young put up many more than that.

Florida (6-6), LSU (5-7), Auburn (6-6) ALL gave Bama a better game than Georgia. And Texas AM (8-4) actually beat them.

Are we sure Georgia deserves a spot???
