Danny Okoye, a 4-star edge rusher out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, announced Sunday that he has cut his list to 3.
Technically, all 3 of Okoye’s final programs are in the SEC, or at least will be by the time he hits campus: Tennessee, Texas and Oklahoma.

Okoye is homeschooled and plays for the Northeast Oklahoma Association of Homeschools. However, he’s shown a few times that he is a very strong athlete and has garnered offers from some of the top programs in the country, including Alabama, Georgia and LSU alongside the 3 listed above.
The Vols have made strong strides in Okoye’s recruitment lately. He was thought to be an Oklahoma lock at one point and just recently took an official visit to Norman. He has an official visit to Tennessee planned for September 30.
Okoye is considered to be the No. 152 prospect in the country, as well as the No. 10 Edge and No. 1 player out of Oklahoma.
