Dante Fowler on Jaguars’ home-opener crowd: ‘It was actually better than The Swamp’

The Jacksonville Jaguars dominated the New England Patriots on Sunday in Jacksonville, beating the defending AFC champs in an AFC Championship Game rematch 31-20.

After a big win like that, you can forgive Jacksonville DE Dante Fowler if he was being a little emotional and got caught up in the moment.

As you can see in the tweet below, the former Florida defender said the crowd supporting the Jags on Sunday was “actually better than The Swamp,” which is pretty bold to say:

Considering that TIAA Bank Field seats just under 68,000 people and The Swamp crams more that 88,000 Florida fans inside, we’ll take The Swamp.

Still, it was a big win for Fowler and the Jags, so we understand where he was coming from after the game.
