Darius Slayton’s first career NFL touchdown was no gimme. The former Auburn wide receiver had to run a good route, get down the field, stretch out to reach Daniel “Danny Dimes” Jones’ pass, haul it in and hold onto it.

You can see all that happen in this 11-second clip captured by NFL writer Rob Paul:

The New York Giants drafted Slayton this year with the No. 171 overall pick. It’s looking New York solidified its passing attack in the draft, as Jones, a first-round, pick appears to be the team’s quarterback for the foreseeable future. Slayton and Jones appear to have developed some chemistry already.

Unfortunately for the Giants, Slayton’s touchdown was the only one they scored on Sunday against Minnesota. The Vikings won 28-10 with New York falling to 2-3 on the year.
