Dave Portnoy goes on hilarious rant about ESPN College World Series analyst Kyle Peterson

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy is a fan of the College World Series, and watches it closely enough to be aware of one of the analysts on ESPN, Kyle Peterson.
Except in this video clip below, Portnoy struggled to identify Peterson, as he initially called him Doug and Peter. Portnoy identified that Peterson does the College World Series and the Little League World Series for ESPN.
According to his ESPN bio, Peterson joined ESPN in 2003, and has served as a field reporter and analyst on the network’s College World Series, Major League Baseball and Little League World Series game telecasts. He has appeared on the College Baseball Selection Show since 2004.
Peterson played collegiate baseball at Stanford and was named National Freshman of the Year in 1995, posting a record of 14-1 with a 2.96 ERA. He also earned recognition as the Pac-10 Pitcher of the Year in 1995 and 1997, leading the Cardinal to the College World Series both seasons.
“I’ve written a blog about this guy, he was a pitcher,” Portnoy said. “They literally put him in a closet for 364 days of the year, 363, and pull him out for two days, the College World Series and the Little League World Series, I think it’s Peter, and he’s really cocky … and he loves showing grips in the booth, he loves it. Scott, maybe?”
After he was told the correct name, Portnoy added that, “He’s always in the corner, and he always loves just showing the grips of the seams.”
I say this every college World Series and ever Little League World Series. What does Doug Peterson do the rest of the year these 2 events aren’t happening? Just hibernate like a bear?
