Dave Van Horn names weekend starters for College Baseball Showdown

Arkansas baseball is just days away!
On Wednesday, Razorbacks head coach Dave Van Horn announced the weekend starters for the upcoming College Baseball Showdown in Arlington, featuring the Razorbacks, Vanderbilt, Mizzou, Texas, TCU and Oklahoma State.
LHP Hagen Smith will get the start Friday against Texas, Will McEntire gets the nod vs. TCU on Saturday and Hunter Hollan will be on the mound Sunday against Oklahoma State.

– Friday (vs Texas): LHP Hagen Smith
– Saturday (vs TCU): RHP Will McEntire

The Razorbacks are ranked No. 4 by Perfect Game, No. 7 by Collegiate Baseball, No. 8 by D1Baseball, No. 11 by Baseball America, and No. 6 by NCBWA. They also came in as No. 4 in the preseason coaches poll.
Arkansas fell just short of their 3rd College World Series title last season, losing to eventual champs Ole Miss.
