Davhon Keys, 2024 LB from Texas, announces SEC commitment

Davhon Keys has found his home in the SEC. The linebacker out of Texas has committed to play at LSU.
Keys pledged to the Tigers on Saturday. He shared the big news on his Twitter account.

An Aledo High School standout, Keys is listed at 6-feet, 215 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Keys is rated 3-stars, the No. 32 linebacker, No. 68 Lone Star State recruit and No. 418 prospect overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class.
On March 7, Keys tweeted that his recruitment was no longer open. That same day, he shared that Alabama extended a scholarship offer. An offer from UTSA followed the next day.
Keys has scholarship offers from 24 schools, including Arkansas, Missouri and Texas A&M. For Brian Kelly’s staff, Keys gives LSU 11 commitments already for the 2024 cycle as spring visits start to pick up.
As a junior, Keys recorded 123 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, 5 pass breakups, 5 QB hurries, a pick-6 and a blocked field goal. Highlights from that season can be viewed below, via Hudl:
