College Football Hall of Famer and former ESPN analyst David Pollack appeared on The Ryen Russillo Show on Saturday to discuss the College Football Playoff, and unveiled his 4 potential teams that can capture the 2025-26 CFP crown.

Pollack’s top teams are Indiana, Ohio State, Oregon and Georgia.

“I would take Ohio State,” Pollack said when Russillo asked who Pollack thought would win it all. “There is a lot more competent teams that can beat you week in and week out in the SEC, but the title contenders are in the Big Ten. There are 4 teams that can win this whole thing. It’s Indiana, it’s Ohio State, it’s Georgia and it’s Oregon. Those are the 4 teams that can win it. The Big Ten teams that are at the top of that (list) have something in common – they have some quarterbacks that can absolutely spin it.”

The former Georgia standout and Chuck Bednarik Award winner went on to say that weekly competition in the SEC is stronger than the Big Ten, but that grind doesn’t always equate in the CFP.

“The top of the Big Ten is better,” Pollack said. “There are 3 teams to me that can win it and the 1 in the SEC. As far as the league, week in and week out, it’s a lot harder in the SEC to compete.”
